Meet Our Staff

Dr. Douglas Fleming graduated from UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 1990 with his doctorate and also received his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley. In 1991, Dr. Fleming started working at a local practice in Sonora, CA that has been in business for over 50 years. He then purchased the practice in 1996. Dr. Fleming is a member of the San Joaquin Optometric Society and also serves on the Board of Premier Laser Eye Center. Dr. Fleming is happy to have Dr. Richard Vanover as an associate doctor.

Dr. Richard Vanover has been employed at Sierra Vista Optometry since 2003. Dr. Vanover obtained his BA from the University of Wyoming in 1987 and then in 1991 he obtained his undergraduate degree form the UC Berkeley School of Optometry.
